## By the People, For the People!

ChewySwap is the leading ***Community-Based*** decentralized exchange on Shibarium and Dogechain, the two leading EVM compatible blockchains for Dog lovers! ## For the Public Good!

ChewySwap is pledging half of all profits¹ generated from platform fees to charitable causes that are important to members of our community! In an industry where short term profiteering normally takes priority, we take an entirely different approach. By focusing on using our skills to help enrich others and little by little making the world a better place we hope to continue attracting likeminded individuals who reflect the values and principles on which Chewy was founded!\
\
We've already made a couple contributions to various charities such as the [Good Dog Foundation](https://twitter.com/ChewySwap/status/1770783799514689808), [American Cancer Society](https://twitter.com/ChewySwap/status/1771192900388323417), [Boys and Girls Club of America](https://x.com/ChewySwap/status/1776232928831230040) and [Guiding Eyes for the Blind](https://twitter.com/ChewySwap/status/1773430909758234958) - all foundations that were suggested by members of our beloved community. Stay tuned on our [Twitter page ](https://twitter.com/ChewySwap)to keep up to date on our latest donations and also be sure to let us know in the comments what charity or cause is most important to you and we'll get them on the next donation!\

## Staying on the Cutting Edge

ChewySwap is about more than building an amazing decentralized exchange, we work closely with builders using our expertise to help foster growth and innovation in the growing field of MemeFi. It's about more than keeping up with the latest trends but also the latest technology - our DEX is armed with the latest Web3 tech enabling the use of nearly any consumer wallet app including support for [Multi-Signature wallets](https://wallet.cryptiq.online) enabling improved trust and security.

<figure><img src="/files/O2HjWct9YCnjkzhG3RIM" alt="" width="280"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## Low, Near-Zero Fees!

If you thought BSC had low fees wait until you start trading on Shibarium and Dogechain! The cost for a swap on ChewySwap is fractions of a Bone / Doge making trading an easy and fast process. Even when BONE / Doge go to hundreds of dollars those fees will still only be pennies which is much lower than BSC and ***miles*** lower than Ethereum!

## &#x20;Earn

> Earn CHEWY and other tokens for free with interest rates that will leave you and your furry friend salivating!

## Earn tokens with Single Staking

Stake a variety of Shibarium-based tokens and earn free tokens. And also coming soon: Third party pools provided to projects feed back into our ecosystem making for more sustainable rewards helping Chewy retain its value so you can earn more, for even longer.

## Earn CHEWY with Yield Farms

Stake LP tokens, earn CHEWY. You take on a little more exposure to market fluctuations than with single token staking pools, but you can earn higher APR to offset the risk

## Earn Trading Fees

No farm? No problem! Even if your trading pair isn't supported on the Farms page, you can still earn trading fees when you stake your tokens in Liquidity Pools (LPs).

## Is ChewySwap Safe?

### Team KYC'd

KYC by [Assure Defi](https://assuredefi.com/projects/chewyswap/) to ensure safety and accountability! Two team members have been through a rigorous KYC process by Assure, including the wallets that hold all project funds.&#x20;

<figure><img src="/files/dT9DGeAdLGSPZvnxx6hF" alt=""><figcaption><p><a href="https://assuredefi.com/projects/chewyswap/">ChewySwap KYC Verified by Assure DeFi</a></p></figcaption></figure>

### Transparent:

* We're built on open-source software: our site and all our Smart Contracts are publicly visible for maximum transparency.
* Our contracts are verified on ShibariumScan so you know that what you see is what you get: (coming soon)
* All frontend code is Open Source and can be accessed via [GitHub](https://github.com/PooDoge/DogeshrekDEX-UI) (coming soon)
* Unlike many DEX on Shibarium, we're fully GPL v3 compliant and share every bit of forked code completely up to date (Updated GitHub coming soon)

### Always Accessible

* Our frontends all have IPFS backups so no matter what happens to our web host you'll always have access to your funds
* We have a team of moderators ready to answer any of your questions and to give customer support nearly 24/7 in our [Telegram Group](https://t.me/chewyswapcommunity).

### Experienced Team

* Lead Developer is a Crypto OG - got started mining crypto in 2014 and has been known to help revive multiple dead, abandoned or rugged projects. He is always quick to help users with their blockchain woes and never turns down a request for help. ChewySwap is meant to embody the positive feel-good attitude of a community that comes together for the public good!
* Team includes a group of friends who went through the last bull-bear market cycle together and are motivated to make a lasting impact in the space by being the most active and transparent team ever seen in DeFi

### Audited Smart Contracts

Especially when you're dealing with new projects on new blockchains it's important that every step be taken to ensure that user's funds are safe from exploitation by hackers or even by bad actors on a project's team. A decentralized exchange shouldn't be able to be exploited by hackers or rugged by its owners, for this reason we chose to fork only the most tried and tested smart contracts for our DEX from the likes of Uniswap and PancakeSwap.&#x20;

To be sure that we didn't miss anything before launching ChewySwap to the public we got all our smart contracts audited by a reputable 3rd party. There were thankfully no major security issues and we received a clean score, you can check the auditor's findings at the link below:

To get started on ChewySwap, the first thing you'll need is to set up a wallet that supports Shibarium or custom EVM chains. Wallets are available both on desktop computers and on smartphone devices. You'll need to choose the wallet that fits your needs best.

{% hint style="danger" %}
**When you're setting up a wallet, be sure to:**

* :white\_check\_mark: **Download and install only the latest version from an official source.**
* :white\_check\_mark: **Follow the setup guide carefully**
* :white\_check\_mark: **Safely back up your recovery phrases.**
* :no\_entry: **NEVER share your recovery phrases with anyone, under any circumstances.**
* :no\_entry: **EVER input your recovery phrase to a website or app, other than your wallet app.**
  {% endhint %}

## Smartphone/Mobile or Desktop wallet?

Mobile device wallets and desktop-based wallets have different strengths and weaknesses. Consider which fits your needs better to help decide which type of wallet to use.

Smartphone/Mobile wallets allow you to access your crypto almost anywhere. Wallets are available on both Android and iOS devices.

### Which wallet should I choose?

Here's a list of the most popular wallets you can use to connect to Shibarium and trade on ChewySwap:

{% tab title="Rabby" %}

<div align="left" data-full-width="true"><figure><img src="/files/N09yuAFsiHeOUYHZ73ai" alt=""><figcaption><p>Rabby Wallet</p></figcaption></figure></div>

Rabby wallet is a new browser extension and mobile wallet app by [Debank ](https://debank.com/)which has a lot of great and innovative features.

{% tab title="Metamask" %}

<figure><img src="/files/SFJqARaVPumBqOWhMyP4" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Metamask is one of the oldest open-source software wallets that supports Shibarium. It has a built-in dApp browser on most platforms and is compatible with all EVM-compatible blockchains. A bit of a learning curve for newbies but it's the most tried and tested wallet in the industry. There are constant security updates with new features and UI upgrades being added all the time. Users have to manually add Shibarium's network info as there are only a couple built-in blockchain networks. Also supports walletconnect and hardware wallets such as trezor.

Bitkeep wallet is a relatively new kid on the block as far as software wallets, it is a great choice for beginners because it supports custom EVM networks like Shibarium. It's open source and has support for many other networks such as Dogecoin, Ethereum, BSC, Polkadot, Solana and more. It has a built in NFT marketplace and modern dapp browser. In my testing is compatible with most dApps that are compatible with Metamask\

Trust Wallet is a community driven, open-source, multi coin crypto wallet. It enables blockchain developers to build their DApps and wallets natively without having to worry about the low-level implementation details. It doesn't have as good compatibility with 3rd party dApps as other options but the good news is that if you use TrustWallet it's possible to add Dogechain now as a custom network!

# Get BONE for Gas

The native tokens of Shibarium use the **ERC-20** token standard (Ethereum standard tokens implemented in [Ethereum mainnet EIP-20](https://eips.ethereum.org/EIPS/eip-20)).

To do most things on Shibarium you will need to pay gas which comes in the form of BONE. BONE is like the ETH, BNB or AVAX of Shibarium. In order to get the gas tokens needed to trade on Shibarium you'll need to bridge BONE from Ethereum to Shibarium using the official bridge.&#x20;

{% hint style="info" %}
The Shibarium Bridge also supports bridging of Wrapped Ether to Shibarium mainnet, but in order to make any swaps or transactions you'll still need to bridge some BONE tokens to Shibarium!
{% endhint %}

This early into Shibarium's release there's only one way to bridge Bone from Ethereum to Shibarium, and that's to use the official [Bridge located here](https://shibarium.shib.io/bridge).

{% tabs %}
{% tab title="🍖 Shibarium Bridge" %}

<figure><img src="/files/6BzIp0r4bEyf3XiLfmTg" alt="" width="375"><figcaption><p>Shibarium Native Bridge</p></figcaption></figure>

[Shibarium Bridge](https://shibarium.shib.io/bridge) - official cross-chain bridge for bridging BONE and Wrapped ETHER between Ethereum and Shibarium.

This bridge will allow you to move your Bone/ETH seamlessly between Shibarium and Ethereum, to participate in the growing Dog-Fi ecosystem!

# Audits

## ChewySwap is for Safety!

At ChewySwap the safety of our users is a top priority! Even though ***we*** know we're safe, it's good to know that our smart contracts have no major issues that could be exploited by malicious hackers. By following the links to the Audit Summaries you can find a breakdown of the audit results which includes indicators such as whether there are Contract Fees, Max TX amounts, Pause functions, Major vulnerabilities, etc.&#x20;

{% hint style="warning" %}
Always stick with decentralized exchanges like us who put forth the effort to be audited by a trusted 3rd party so you know that there are no major vulnerabilities or hidden functions! Some exchanges may even have pause functions or functions that allow an authorized individual to remove funds from staking pools, which we've unfortunately seen a couple times on new exchanges recently.
{% endhint %}

# Roadmap

### a Roadmap is not a To-Do List!

The crypto world is fast-changing and we've got to move in step with it! Therefore this roadmap is subject to change at any time.

In other words we won't publicly commit to exact timelines. This allows us to prioritize our development based on market conditions and developer resources.

{% hint style="info" %}
Due to issues of security and prevention of copycats and market manipulation by bad actors, some items are not included in this list. There are some plans better kept as a surprise!

# Chewy Token

Chewy is our "Cake"

CHEWY token is the reward token for ChewySwap farms and staking pools. Unlike most farming rewards tokens at ChewySwap we're coming up with new and unique ideas to keep CHEWY sustainable so you can keep earning!\
\
Ways we're increasing Chewy's Utility:

* **Buy fair launches with your Chewy!** - We'll partner with known safe devs to pair Chewy to a token when it launches in exchange for early whitelisting. So you can directly swap your Chewy rewards for new launches at 0 cost and risk \*\*
* Providing projects custom single token staking pools and NFT staking pools in exchange for adding to Chewy's Liquidity Pool (LP) (Soon!)
* Pairing Liquidity with other projects in the Shibarium ecosystem to increase liquidity and allow Chewy holders to directly swap Chewy for other great projects in the Shibarium ecosystem
* Chewy staking pools to earn other free tokens from your farming rewards just for holding (Soon!)
* Chewy's Lucky Dog Lottery - buy raffle tickets using CHEWY for the chance to win the jackpot! (Soon!)

**Total Starting Supply**: 1,000,000 CHEWY\
**Emissions Rate**: 0.1 CHEWY Per Block\
**Tokenomics**: 60% to Farms, 30% to Pools, 10% to Burnt LP/Token Burn\
\
\*\* No Tax, Max Wallet or Max Transaction\
\
**Smart Contract:** 0x2761723006d3Eb0d90B19B75654DbE543dcd974f\

# Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ about ChewySwap

## Swaps

<details>

<summary>Q: What is Unknown error: "Chewy: K"?</summary>

A: If you get this error it means you are swapping a token which has a tax on it with your output set at a certain BONE or DOGE amount. To fix this error first make sure your slippage is set high enough to account for the token's tax, then modify the input side of your trade and try again. For example:&#x20;

* Remove decimals from token amount
* Add .000 to end of whole number token amount

</details>

<details>

<summary>Q: How to fix transaction error "Cannot convert string to buffer. toBuffer only supports 0x-prefixed hex strings and this string was given: 109"?</summary>

A: This is an error related to MetaMask wallet which can usually be fixed by closing out of ChewySwap tab and closing MetaMask then trying again. If the problem persists we recommend importing your MetaMask wallets into a better wallet app such as [Rabby walle](https://rabby.io/)t as MetaMask has been having many problems recently.

# DEX Aggregator

Optimizes your Swaps for the Best Price!

## Introduction to DEX Aggregators

Decentralized Exchange (DEX) **aggregators** are like the travel search engines of crypto trading – but instead of flights, they hunt for the best token swap deals across multiple exchanges. In simple terms, a DEX aggregator is a tool that **searches many decentralized exchanges at once** to find users the most favorable price for a trade. This means traders **don’t have to manually check each DEX** for rates; the aggregator does the comparison shopping automatically. By combining liquidity from various exchanges into one platform, an aggregator can often **offer better prices and lower slippage** (price changes during a trade) than any single exchange could on its own. The result? Users get more value from their swaps, **save time**, and avoid the pitfalls of bad trades on illiquid markets or with high slippage.

### **Benefits of using a DEX aggregator:**

* **Best Prices:** The aggregator scours multiple DEXs to ensure the trade executes at the best available rate. It can even split a single trade across several exchanges if that yields more tokens for the user.
* **Time Saving:** Instead of visiting several DEX platforms and comparing rates manually, users trade in one place. The aggregator’s smart contract does the heavy lifting behind the scenes to find the optimal path.
* **Avoiding Bad Trades:** Low liquidity on a single DEX can cause **high slippage**, meaning a user might get much fewer tokens than expected. An aggregator can detect this and reroute the trade through better pools or multiple hops, preventing nasty surprises. In short, it helps users **avoid trades with poor liquidity or huge price impact**.

All of this happens seamlessly. From a user’s perspective, they just enter the trade they want, and the aggregator’s **“crypto ninja” code** finds the best way to execute it. It’s a bit like having a **loyal canine sidekick sniff out** the best bargains in the crypto marketplace – **ChewySwap’s aggregator** does exactly that on Shibarium and Dogechain, the blockchains in the dog-loving crypto realm.

# How to Swap

### How to Use the ChewySwap DEX Aggregator

Using the ChewySwap DEX Aggregator is straightforward and beginner-friendly. The interface is designed to walk users through a token swap step by step in a single screen. Here’s how a user can swap tokens on ChewySwap:

<figure><img src="/files/yHmNiVuiperrzNM1JSfI" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

1. **Select the Tokens to Swap:** On the aggregator page, there are two main fields – the **“Sell” box and the “Buy” box**. In the Sell box, the user taps the token name (on the right side of the field) to choose which token they want to swap *out*. For example, if the user has Token A and wants to trade it, they would select Token A in the Sell box. In the Buy box, the user similarly taps the token name to select the token they want to receive (Token B, for instance). The interface provides a searchable list of tokens for convenience, so users can easily find the token by symbol or name.

2. **Enter the Amount to Swap:** Once the tokens are selected, the user enters the amount of the Sell token they want to swap. As soon as they type in an amount, ChewySwap will display the **estimated USD value** of that amount directly below or within the Sell box. This real-time market data helps users instantly gauge how much their input is worth in dollars, giving context especially for those more familiar with fiat values. For instance, if a user enters 100 Token A and it shows \~$50 USD, they understand the scale of their trade.

3. **Review the Expected Output:** After entering the sell amount, the Buy box will show how much of the desired token the user is expected to receive. This includes the **amount of the Buy token** and also an estimated USD value for that output. For example, it might display that 100 Token A could yield 250 Token B (≈$49 USD). This side-by-side display of input vs output values lets users quickly compare the two.

4. **Check Price Impact & Split Large Trades if Needed:** It’s important for users to **compare the USD value of what they’re putting in versus what they’re getting out**. In a perfect liquid market, $50 in might equal about $50 out (minus small fees). If the USD values are wildly different – say $50 in but only $40 out – that indicates a **large price impact or low liquidity** for that trade. ChewySwap will usually also warn of a high price impact if that’s the case. In such situations, it might be a good idea to **split the trade into smaller chunks**. By doing multiple smaller swaps, users can sometimes get a better overall rate with less slippage, especially on volatile or low-liquidity tokens. In short, **if the numbers look “off,” pause and adjust** before hitting swap.

5. **Token Approval (if Required):** When the user is trading a token that is **not the native coin of the chain**, an extra step is needed the first time. For example, on Shibarium, BONE is the native token used for gas, whereas an ERC-20 token like LEASH would require approval. ChewySwap will automatically detect if an approval is required. Users will see a button (usually “Approve”) instead of the final “Swap” at first. **Approving** lets the smart contract move the specified token on the user’s behalf. This is a one-time on-chain transaction per token, per app, and incurs a small gas fee. After tapping approve and confirming that transaction in their wallet, the user can then proceed to execute the swap in the second step. *(In summary, some swaps are a 2-step process: first approve the token, then execute the swap. Native tokens like BONE or DOGE don’t need approval.)*

6. **Review the Swap Path:** Just below the Swap button, the ChewySwap interface shows a **swap path (route)** for the trade. This is a small but super-useful detail provided by the aggregator. It typically displays a series of token icons or symbols connected by arrows, along with the names of the DEXs involved in each step. For example, it might show something like Token A → Token X → Token B, with labels of which DEX each leg of the trade uses. This means the aggregator found it best to swap Token A to Token X on, say, Uniswap, then Token X to Token B on ChewySwap’s own pools (just as an example). By looking at this route preview, users can understand **how the trade will be executed behind the scenes**. It’s transparent – if ChewySwap is going through multiple hops or other exchanges to get the best deal, the user sees that route clearly. For curious users, it’s almost like watching your **crypto trade GPS** find the optimal path. If the path seems too convoluted or includes an unfamiliar token as an intermediary, that’s usually nothing to worry about (the contract will handle it atomically); it’s just the aggregator being efficient.&#x20;

   <figure><img src="/files/tnulCXdbMWpJ708TDkxN" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

7. **Be Aware of the Fees (and Discounts):** ChewySwap’s aggregator applies a **0.15% swap fee** on trades. This fee is taken from the output token, similar to how many DEXs have a small fee per swap. However, there’s a special **discount program** for ChewySwap’s community: users who hold **6900 CHEWY tokens or more** (ChewySwap’s own token) get **the 0.15% fee waived entirely**. In other words, loyal Chewy holders at that threshold trade fee-free on the aggregator. Even holding fewer CHEWY tokens grants a partial discount – it scales with the amount of CHEWY held. For example, holding **3450 CHEWY (which is 50% of 6900)** would grant a 50% fee reduction, so the user would pay only a 0.075% fee instead of 0.15%. This encourages community members to hold CHEWY for perks, and it gives a nice benefit to those already invested in the ecosystem. The interface will usually indicate if a fee is being applied or if it’s waived, so users can know if their trade will incur the aggregator fee. *(Note: This aggregator fee is separate from the usual “liquidity provider” fees that come from the DEX pools themselves – those are typically built into the quoted price. The 0.15% is ChewySwap’s platform fee.)*

8. **Execute the Swap:** After reviewing all the above – the tokens, amounts, USD estimates, price impact, route, and fee – the user is ready to **swap**. Hitting the **Swap button** will prompt a confirmation showing a summary (usually the minimum amount out, the route, and the fee, plus gas cost). The user confirms the transaction in their wallet (e.g., MetaMask or WalletConnect popup). The ChewySwap aggregator’s smart contract will then carry out the trade across the necessary DEX(s) as shown in the route. In a few moments, the user will have the new tokens in their wallet. **Voilà!** The aggregator has seamlessly gotten them the best deal available.

Throughout this process, ChewySwap keeps the tone light and the UI intuitive – even a first-timer can follow along. Tips or warnings (like high slippage alerts) are presented in plain language. It’s almost as if the app is a friendly guide, not just a tool. **Beginner users** don’t need to know the complex algorithms at work; they can trust that ChewySwap’s DEX aggregator is working in their favor, much like a *helpful pupper fetching the stick you threw – but here the “stick” is the best price for your crypto trade!* 🐕

# Send Tokens

## How to Send Tokens

ChewySwap isn’t just about swapping tokens; it also provides a simple way to **send tokens** to another address or username, right from the same interface. This is handy for transferring tokens to a friend or moving assets between your own wallets without leaving ChewySwap.

<figure><img src="/files/QEepOKbO1FA5qn8QnihA" alt=""><figcaption><p> <em>The <strong>Send</strong> tab on ChewySwap’s interface. In this example, a user is sending 100 BONE (≈$25.48) to the Shib name <code>chewydoggo.shib</code>, which the app resolves to a standard address (0x371f...BAA0). The “Send” button will initiate the transfer after confirmation.</em></p></figcaption></figure>

### To send tokens using ChewySwap:

* **Navigate to the Send Tab:** At the top of the exchange interface, users can switch from **Swap** to **Send**. The Send tab is dedicated to one thing – helping users transfer tokens to another wallet easily. It has a very straightforward layout with fields to fill out the details of the transfer.
* **Select the Token and Amount:** The first field lets the user choose which token to send. Just like in the swap interface, tapping the token name opens the list of available tokens. The user picks the token they want to transfer (e.g., BONE, CHEWY, or any supported token in their wallet). Next, they enter the **amount** of that token to send. An estimate of the USD value may be shown here as well (giving a sense of how much value is being transferred). For example, the user might select BONE and enter “100” as the amount, seeing “$25.48” as an approximate value below it, as shown in the screenshot above.
* **Enter the Recipient’s Address or .SHIB Name:** ChewySwap supports the Shibarium Name Service (addresses that end in `.shib`), making it **easier to send to human-readable names**. In the recipient field, users can either paste the long wallet address (a 0x... Ethereum-like address) or simply type a **.shib name** if the recipient has one. For instance, instead of `0x371f...BAA0`, one could just enter `chewydoggo.shib` – which is much easier to remember. The ChewySwap interface will automatically **resolve the .shib name to the correct address** (and usually display the shortened address as confirmation, like showing 0x371f...BAA0 once resolved). This way, users can be confident they got the name right and it points to the intended wallet. This feature helps avoid the common error of copying a wrong address or sending to the wrong person, as long as the .shib name is correct.
* **Send and Confirm:** Once the token, amount, and recipient are filled in, the user clicks the **Send button**. A confirmation prompt will appear, similar to sending a transaction from a wallet. The user should **double-check** two critical things: the **amount** (is it 100 BONE or the intended amount?) and the **recipient** (is the address or name exactly correct?). Crypto transactions are **irreversible** – if you send to the wrong address, there’s no getting it back. ChewySwap’s UI provides that final confirmation step for safety. After verifying everything, the user confirms the transaction in their wallet. The transfer will then be broadcast to the network. In a moment, the recipient address will receive the tokens. There is **no special fee** charged by ChewySwap for sending tokens; unlike swaps, the aggregator doesn’t take a cut for simple transfers. The user only pays the normal blockchain **network gas fee** for the transaction (since moving tokens on-chain always costs a bit of gas).

Sending tokens via ChewySwap is as friendly as sending a photo via chat – the interface doesn’t overwhelm the user with technicalities. It even incorporates the meme-friendly Shib naming system to make the experience less “crypto geek” and more **approachable for everyone**. Whether sending a few tokens to a friend (perhaps repaying a lunch in TREAT tokens for fun!), or moving assets around, the Send feature streamlines the process with a **clean, simple form** and helpful name resolution. Just remember: always check twice before hitting send, just like making sure you’re texting the right person – because in crypto, there’s no undo button!

# Price Ticker

The ChewySwap DEX aggregator page isn’t just a swap tool – it also keeps users informed with a handy **market ticker** running along the interface. This ticker is essentially a scrolling (or updating) list of select token prices and their 24-hour change, giving a quick pulse of the market at a glance. It often displays popular tokens (like major Shibarium ecosystem coins and other trending assets) with their current price in USD (or the chain’s native token) and a small indicator of how much the price has moved in the last day (e.g., +5% or -3%). The presentation might use color cues – green for price up, red for price down – to make it easy to scan.

<figure><img src="/files/sxeVyehShI3QACvdAz5J" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

What’s neat about the ticker is that it’s **interactive**. If a user **clicks on a token** shown in the ticker, ChewySwap will open a **popup** with more detailed information. In that token detail popup, users can typically find:

* **Market Statistics:** Key data like the token’s current price, 24h high and low, trading volume, market capitalization (if available), and other useful stats.

<figure><img src="/files/d7ichTgISCmEPm9BoqB8" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

* **Project Links:** ChewySwap makes it convenient to get more information about the token by providing direct links. These can include the **official website of the project**, and social media or community links like **Twitter/X, Telegram, or Discord**, and possibly a link to the token’s page on a block explorer or CoinGecko. This way, users can DYOR (do your own research) if a token catches their eye – all without leaving the ChewySwap page.

<figure><img src="/files/IUzFpEjbHYRtfoDdEGfO" alt="" width="193"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The market ticker feature turns the aggregator page into a mini dashboard for crypto market watching. New users will appreciate that they can monitor prices of top tokens in real-time while deciding on a swap. For example, a user might notice on the ticker that Token X is up 20% today – maybe prompting them to click it and learn more, or swap into it if they feel confident. It’s a bit of **meme culture meets practicality**: imagine a user seeing DOGE or SHIB coin zooming on the ticker – the interface almost winks and says “hey, look at this pup coin running today!” but in a very factual, data-driven way.

Overall, the ChewySwap DEX Aggregator page is **friendly and welcoming to new crypto users**. It provides powerful tools (like multi-DEX trading and name service transfers) in a simplified package. The tone of the platform (and this documentation) is lighthearted – you might even catch a dog meme reference or two – because crypto is meant to be fun as well as empowering. ChewySwap wants users to feel comfortable, whether they’re **seasoned traders sniffing out arbitrage** or **complete beginners taking their first steps** into decentralized finance. With its easy interface, helpful visuals, and a dash of humor, the ChewySwap DEX Aggregator is like a loyal pup by the user’s side in the vast dog park of DeFi, making the adventure easier and more enjoyable. Happy swapping, and may your trades always find the best route (with maybe a few treats along the way)! 🐕🚀

# Exchange

<figure><img src="/files/PoyRKztkURqeHKQnha9m" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

ChewySwap is an Automated Market Maker (AMM), and the Exchange is at the heart of Chewy. It is the leading and most active Community-Based AMM on Shibarium!

The ChewySwap exchange offers many features that support decentralized trading:

### Swapping & Trading

ChewySwap lets users trade without the need to go through a Centralized Exchange. Everything you do on Chewy is routed directly through your own wallet—no need to trust someone else with your coins!

### Liquidity Pools

You can only swap tokens on ChewySwap if there is enough liquidity for those tokens. If nobody has added much liquidity for the token or tokens you want to swap, it will be difficult, expensive, or impossible to do so.

Providing liquidity will get you LP Tokens, which will earn you rewards in the form of trading fees for making sure there's always liquidity for the exchange to use.

### Yield Farming

Yield farming lets users that are providing liquidity earn CHEWY rewards by locking their LP tokens into a smart contract. The incentive is to balance out the risk of [impermanent loss](https://academy.binance.com/en/articles/impermanent-loss-explained) that comes along with locking in your liquidity.

# How to Swap

Token Swaps on ChewySwap are a simple way to trade one token for another via automated liquidity pools on Shibarium.

<figure><img src="/files/U1u7nYTIqlxdXJnrduxC" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

When you make a token swap (trade) on ChewySwap Exchange, you will pay a standard fixed 0.3% trading fee that goes back to Liquidity Providers. ChewySwap dynamically checks for the best route for your trade that will yield you the best price based on your input and output token. You may check the route details as it dynamically updates underneath the Swap button.

# Built-In Charts

Price History at a Glance in one Place!

In order to toggle Chart View push the Chart Toggle Button at the top left of the Swap dialog as shown below:

<div align="center"><figure><img src="/files/N11Z3FUD0mrdlVYoiGCa" alt="" width="325"><figcaption><p>Toggle Chart</p></figcaption></figure></div>

Toggling the chart on Desktop will show the Chart on the left side of the swap dialog, whereas on Mobile it will show the chart taking up half the screen. To exit out of chart view on Mobile press the X or tap outside the chart area.\
\
Once the chart is turned on there are several controls for changing the display of the currently shown chart as highlighted below:

<figure><img src="/files/Xd4zU3e4S93KKlmcAC4c" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

There are multiple different Chart Providers available depending on chain, with 3 available on Shibarium and 2 on Dogechain. Tapping the First button on the left will cycle through [Dexscreener](https://dexscreener.com/shibarium), [GeckoTerminal ](https://www.geckoterminal.com/shibarium/chewyswap/pools)and [Web3Shards ](https://web3shards.io/)(Shibarium). The second button from the left will toggle which token price is viewed (Input or Output if not BONE). The third button from the left toggles the view of Buys and Sells on the Chart.\
\
Whenever a setting is changed it will be remembered for the next time you open ChewySwap for your convenience.&#x20;

# Fees and Routes

All applicable Liquidity Provider fees show underneath the swap button dynamically as you enter the number of input and output tokens to swap. When there either isn't a direct liquidity pair to swap between for the input and output token or if there's a better deal by using a different **Route** the path taken will appear underneath the Swap button.

<figure><img src="/files/ohyPzZlkTN0sAHJQujKZ" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The swap will always show the Route that gives the best deal for the most output tokens possible taking Price Impact into consideration. This is called a Multi-Hop swap.

# Settings / Slippage

At ChewySwap we put a lot of work into making sure our AMM interface is customizable to suit each user's preference and intended use. On the swap page there are various options that can be set by tapping the gear icon "⚙️".&#x20;

{% hint style="info" %}
All user settings are automatically saved and will persist in your browser until either your browser cache is cleared or you change them back to their previous setting.
{% endhint %}

<figure><img src="/files/fGvUFHnI80UeuY8WeJYE" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## Slippage Tolerance

Whenever you make a trade there's always the possibility that the price can change between the time you press Swap and when your transaction gets confirmed. Slippage is a safety setting which ensures that the number of output tokens stays within the set tolerance indicated by "Slippage". This is useful in preventing your transaction from being frontrun or "sandwiched" which can happen if you set slippage too high.

{% hint style="success" %}
For Example: Let's say you put in a swap trading 100 BONE for 1000 CHEWY and your Slippage is set at 1%, if someone makes a big buy or sell right before your swap and the difference in output tokens is +/- 1% of 1000 (less than 990 CHEWY or over 1010 CHEWY) then your transaction will Revert. In most cases for 0% tax tokens 1% slippage is OK unless the price is very volatile.&#x20;
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="warning" %}
\* This also applies for tokens that have a buy or sell tax, if the tax is > your Slippage then your transaction will most likely fail. Always set slippage to 1 or 2% higher than the token's Tax (refer to the particular project's website or TG community to find out the tax)
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="danger" %}
\*\* In certain cases where price is very volatile such as in a Fair Launch it may be necessary to set slippage higher than recommended. This is done at your own risk and there's a maximum slippage for normal mode. To disable safety checks on trades such as slippage/price impact turn on "Expert Mode" in Settings.
{% endhint %}

## Mute Audio (Sound Effects)

Does exactly what it says on the tin, enables or disables the Chewy sound effects when selecting tokens. Enabled turns sounds on, Disabled turns sounds off.

## Disable Multi-Hop Swaps (Single Hop Only)

In some cases when the UI finds a better price by routing through different pairs it will route through those other pairs to achieve the swap. This is sometimes even necessary when there isn't a direct liquidity pair to trade for the given input and output tokens. The UI takes into account DEX fees in calculating this price.&#x20;

In some cases you might not want to use multi-hop, lets say for example there's a buy contest on ShibaPunkz token but only on the BONE pair and the swap is trying to route through the WETH pair - then you would want to disable Multi-Hops by turning the "Disable Multi-Hop Swaps" setting ON.

Note that disabling multi-hop swaps will persist through your next session and you'll need to turn the setting OFF again to enable Multi-Hop again.

## Toggle Expert Mode

ChewySwap is designed in a way to make trading on Decentralized Finance as safe as possible for the end user. There are multiple ways in which the UI tries to protect the user from themselves such as:

* Maximum Slippage
* Maximum Price Impact
* Confirm Dialogs which show the user the estimated output tokens according to slippage and price impact
* Confirm Dialogs which warn the user if the price impact is too high

{% hint style="danger" %}
Turning on Expert Mode **DISABLES all the above protections** and it must be understood that you could possibly **LOSE FUNDS** if you make a trade that has very high price impact! So only turn on Expert Mode if you're a seasoned expert in blockchain trading and fully understand this disclaimer! \
\
Swaps will go directly to transaction confirmation and will no longer show the dialogs or warnings for high price impact trades (up to a certain point).
{% endhint %}

Another feature of Expert Mode is the ability to add a send to your swap. This feature lets you make a swap and send the tokens to different wallet address from the one you're currently connected to. To enable this click the "+ Add a send (optional)" button and enter a ***valid*** wallet address.

### Zap Mode

Zap Mode allows for simple Liquidity provisioning by automatically swapping one token for the side of the pair that you're currently missing in your wallet. This makes it easier to add liquidity for when you'd like to farm LP or help strengthen the liquidity of your favorite project. For a more detailed write-up on Zap In and Zap Out check the[ Zap (V2) Section](/products/exchange/zap-v2)!

# Zap (V2)

Simple liquidity provisioning with only one click

<div align="left"><figure><img src="/files/bPS9Yf7YqdanWT0NMzV9" alt="" width="256"><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

### What is Zap? <a href="#h.lv839zkjvd8q" id="h.lv839zkjvd8q"></a>

Zap enables simple liquidity provision. Add liquidity with only one token and one single click, without manual swapping or token balancing.

* Add liquidity with only one token: You can add liquidity using only one token in the trading pair. Zap will automatically perform swaps using the one token you provide and automatically balance the trading pair to a 50/50 split before adding liquidity.
* Add liquidity with an imbalanced number of tokens in the trading pair: You can add liquidity even if the number of the tokens you provide in the trading pair is not perfectly balanced with the current pool. For example 30:70, which differs from the default pool weight of 50:50. Zap will automatically rebalance the tokens into a 50/50 split before adding liquidity.
* Remove liquidity and choose what token(s) you want to receive: When removing liquidity, Zap allows you to receive only one token in the trading pair. Zap will automatically perform swaps before returning your tokens.

### Enable Zap <a href="#h.8q1zrb4afp7i" id="h.8q1zrb4afp7i"></a>

By default, the Zap feature is turned on for every user. If you don’t see the new Zap UI when adding or removing liquidity, please enable it in the settings panel. You can bring up the settings panel by clicking the cog icon.

<div align="left"><figure><img src="/files/OZAbrPA4eLaGnvxsEhUg" alt="" width="282"><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

{% hint style="warning" %}
Note: Currently, the Zap feature is in beta. Please note that It does not support some tokens, such as tokens with fees on transfers. If you experience any issue while adding or removing liquidity, please disable it in the settings panel.
{% endhint %}

### Zap In (Add Liquidity) <a href="#h.xp3to7fwu7s6" id="h.xp3to7fwu7s6"></a>

Visit the[ Liquidity page](https://chewyswap.dog/liquidity), and choose “Add Liquidity”.

Pick the trading pair you want to provide liquidity to by selecting two input tokens, checkout [Liquidity guide](https://docs.chewyswap.com/products/exchange/liquidity-pools) to learn more.

<div align="left"><figure><img src="/files/sYC5QXvWCC4RyNjw7r3M" alt="" width="325"><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

Click the “Add Liquidity” button to proceed.

If the token in the trading pair you are adding liquidity to has a balance in your wallet. The checkbox for that token will be automatically checked. If you have both the tokens have a balance in your wallet, both checkboxes will be checked.

<div align="left"><figure><img src="/files/mlvkGnNHcnJVUFWC1xf2" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

### Zap using one token <a href="#h.oc5fxca1vzfj" id="h.oc5fxca1vzfj"></a>

You can add liquidity using only one token in the trading pair. Simple check only one checkbox for the token you wish to use. Zap will automatically swap half of the checked tokens into another token in the trading pair before adding liquidity. You will see a warning message indicating which token will be converted.

### Zap using two tokens with imbalanced amounts <a href="#h.4k2b7plmt9t0" id="h.4k2b7plmt9t0"></a>

If both tokens are checked, the amounts of the input tokens don't match a 50/50 split. Zap balancing will be introduced. You will see a message of “Some of your Token A will be converted to Token B”.

<div align="left"><figure><img src="/files/3zor6JwiZSGRscAl6N2b" alt="" width="294"><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

{% hint style="info" %}
If you don’t want Zap to balance the number of tokens before adding liquidity, simply click “Don’t Convert”. In this case, Zap will adjust the number of input tokens to match a 50/50 split instead of trying to swap and rebalance.
{% endhint %}

### Proceed with Zap <a href="#h.t4trnmo4dzno" id="h.t4trnmo4dzno"></a>

When you click “Supply”, the details of the Zap will be shown and await you to confirm.

You will see:

1. How many LP tokens you will receive.
2. What are the input tokens, and the number of tokens you are committing.
3. How the input tokens are traded in order to match a 50/50 split.
4. The slippage tolerance you are using.

### **Zap out (Remove Liquidity)** <a href="#h.whuk5lgc371r" id="h.whuk5lgc371r"></a>

Zap also enables you to receive one single token in the trading pair when removing liquidity.

1. Visit the[ ](https://www.google.com/url?q=https://exchange.pancakeswap.finance/%23/pool\&sa=D\&source=editors\&ust=1656322371442758\&usg=AOvVaw2ZJPj_97-YuUMQjQbYbfN4)[Liquidity page](#user-content-fn-1)[^1].
2. Click on the pair you want to remove liquidity under “Your Liquidity".
3. Click “Remove”. A new pop-up will appear.

Under the “You Will Receive” section, you can uncheck the token you don’t want to receive. Zap will automatically swap and convert 100% of the returns into the checked token when removing liquidity.

# Liquidity Pools

The Life-Blood of Instant Trading on a DEX

### About Liquidity Pools

Liquidity Pools are at the heart of a Decentralized Exchange's Automated Market Maker. Liquidity Pools are provided in the form of a ERC-20 token that represents the pairing of two tokens. The price of each token in the pair is determined by the ratio of tokens to one another. These pairings make instant trading of one asset for another a possibility without the need for an order book like many centralized exchanges use.

Lets say in theory you have a pool with 1000 "Example" tokens and 100 BONE. The price of 1 "Example" token will be 10 BONE each.

The first liquidity provider sets the price by setting the ratio of TokenA to TokenB. If you're creating a pool that doesn't yet exist on ChewySwap but exists on other DEX it is recommended that you get the ratio correct or you may face impermanent loss if arbitrage trading bots use your pool to turn a profit on the incorrect ratio.

<figure><img src="/files/3tbKWEW9pFOo40EJAc4d" alt="" width="416"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

As an example, if you deposited **CHEWY** and **BONE** into a Liquidity Pool, you'd receive **CHEWY-BONE LP** tokens.

The number of LP tokens you receive represents your portion of the **CHEWY-BONE** Liquidity Pool.

You can also redeem your funds at any time by removing your liquidity.

### **Earning trading fees**

Whenever someone trades on ChewySwap, for each hop (swap) in each Exchange V2 liquidity pool, the trader pays a fixed 0.25% fee, **of which 0.17%** is added back to the Liquidity Pool in a form of trading fees.

### **Earning CHEWY**

To earn CHEWY for staking LP tokens on select pairs check out the [Farms section](https://farms.chewyswap.dog) of ChewySwap. For more information check the [Yield Farming section](/products/yield-farming) of these docs.

# Yield Farming

<figure><img src="/files/LeUg6ns1zndErxdW3Y9K" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Yield Farms allow users to earn CHEWY while supporting ChewySwap by staking LP Tokens.

Check out our [How to Use Farms Guide](/products/yield-farming/how-to-use-farms) to get started with farming.

{% hint style="danger" %}
Yield farming can give better rewards than Single Token Staking Pools, but it comes with a risk of **Impermanent Loss**. It’s not as scary as it sounds, but it is worth learning about the concept before you get started.

Check out this great [article about Impermanent Loss ](https://academy.binance.com/en/articles/impermanent-loss-explained)from Binance Academy to learn more.
{% endhint %}

## Reward calculations

Yield Farm APR calculations include both:

* **LP rewards APR** earned through providing liquidity and;
* **Farm base rewards APR** earned staking LP Tokens in the Farm.

Why? Because when you stake your LP tokens in a farm to earn CHEWY, you're still providing liquidity to the liquidity pool, so you earn LP rewards as well!

### Calculating Farm Base Reward APR

The **Farm Base APR** is calculated according to the farm multiplier and the total amount of liquidity in the farm -- this is the amount of CHEWY distributed to the farm.

Let's use the SHIB/BONE pair as an example with these made up values:

**Liquidity:** $387.42M\
**Volume 24H:** $96.97M\
**Volume 7D:** 709.73M

* Calculate yearly fees
  * Use the 24H volume to calculate the **fee share** of liquidity providers in the pool (based on the 0.17% trading fee structure):\
    $96,970,000\*0.17/100 = **$164,849**
  * Next, use that **fee share** to estimate the projected **yearly fees** earned by the pool (based on the current 24h volume):\
    $164,849\*365 = **$60,169,885**
* We can now use the yearly fees to calculate the **LP rewards APR:** That's **yearly fees** divided by **liquidity:**\
  ($60,169,885/$387,420,000)\*100 = **15.53% LP reward APR**

# How to Use Farms

Yield Farming in Farms is a great way to earn CHEWY rewards on ChewySwap.

Unlike Single Token Staking Pools, Farms require you to stake **two tokens** to provide liquidity and receive a liquidity position represented by LP Tokens, which you then stake in the Farm to earn rewards. This lets you earn CHEWY while still keeping a position in your other tokens!

{% hint style="danger" %}
Yield farming can give better rewards than Single Token Staking Pools, but it comes with a risk of **Impermanent Loss**. It’s not as scary as it sounds, but it is worth learning about the concept before you get started.

## Farm V2

### Get prepped

Yield farming takes a little work to get set up.

You’re going to need some "LP Tokens" to enter into a Farm with. Farms can only accept their own exact LP Token; for example, the CHEWY-BONE Farm will only accept CHEWY-BONE LP Tokens.

To get the exact LP Token, you'll need to provide liquidity for that trading pair. So to get CHEWY-BONE LP Tokens, you'll first have to provide liquidity for the CHEWY-BONE pair.

It may sound intimidating, but it's not too complicated. Let's go through step by step.

### Finding your Farm

Before you proceed, you'll want to choose a Farm that's right for you. [Visit the Farms page](https://farms.chewyswap.dog) and you’ll see a list of available Farms.

When you find a Farm that you'd like to use, note down the trading pair, e.g. POOSHIB-BONE in case you need it later.

### Providing liquidity to get LP Tokens

Now that you've found a Farm to stake in, you will need to add liquidity to get your LP Tokens.

1. Click on the row of the Farm you've chosen from the list. It will open to show more details.
2. On the left, you'll see some links. Click the **Get (your pair) LP** link.

### Putting your LP Tokens into a farm

Now that you have your LP Tokens, you’re ready to start staking them in a Farm and earning rewards!

1 - Go back to the [Farms Page](https://farms.chewyswap.dog) and locate your Farm. Click anywhere on the row showing your pair. It will expand to show more details.

When you’re ready, click the **Enable** button and confirm your action in your wallet.

2 - After a short wait, the Enable button will change to **Stake LP**. Click it and a new window will appear.

3 - Type the amount of LP Tokens you would like to farm with into the field, or just click **Max** to use all of your LP Tokens.

4 - When you have the amount entered, the **Confirm** button will light up. Click it. Your wallet will ask you to confirm your action.

5 - After a short wait, the window will close, and you will see your new staked LP Token balance in the details.

### Adding or removing LP Tokens from a Farm

You may decide you would like to add more LP Tokens to a Farm at a later date, or to take some out of a Farm. You can do this very easily whenever you'd like.

1. Return to the Yield Farms page. At the top of the page you'll see a **Staked only** toggle. Click the toggle.

You should now only see the pairs you have LP Tokens in on the list, making it easier to find your Farm.

1. Find the Farm you have LP Tokens in, and click the row to view details. You will see a **-** and **+** button on the right-hand side. Click **-** to remove LP Tokens, or **+** to add more LP Tokens.
2. A window will open that looks like the one you used earlier to first stake your LP Tokens. Like last time, type the amount you would like to unstake/stake, or click **Max** to remove/add all available LP Tokens.
3. Make sure your information is correct. When you are ready, click the **Confirm** button and confirm the action in your wallet.
4. After a short wait, your new balance will show in the details section of your LP Token pair. If you've unstaked your LP Tokens, any unharvested rewards you had will automatically have been collected.

### Collecting your farming rewards

Farming will bring you CHEWY rewards over time. You can collect these rewards and use them to get more LP Tokens, stake them in single token staking pools, use them to play Lottery, or anything else you’d like.

### Returning to your Farm to Harvest

You can harvest your Farm and Staking Pool rewards together from the Home page. If you'd like to collect your farming rewards only, follow along.

To collect your rewards, you’ll need to visit your chosen Farm and collect the CHEWY waiting for you.

1 - Return to the Farms page

2 - Find the Farm you staked your LP Tokens in, and click the row to view details. You should see an estimate of your rewards under “CHEWY earned”.

3 - Click the **Harvest** button and confirm the action in your wallet. After a short wait, the CHEWY will be claimed to your wallet for you to use as you like.

## How often should I harvest my rewards?

How often you harvest your rewards is up to you, but it does help to remember that there is a small gas fee involved in harvesting.

You can see this fee in your wallet when confirming after clicking **Harvest**.

Happy farming, chewys!

# Governance and Tokenomics

<figure><img src="/files/1P6eTFwjUBhkf0wW9BUd" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## Token Holder Governance

Keeping in line with Ryoshi's vision, ChewySwap is a Decentralized Exchange built by the people and for the people! In the spirit of this we have built ChewySwap with everything needed to transfer control of the Exchange to On-chain Governance!

Being so early on in Shibarium and Chewy token's life, right now is a time where we need to stay flexible in order to adapt to changing market conditions and sentiment. When it comes to governance you sacrifice flexibility in exchange for safety and community control. When the supply of Chewy token is adequately decentralized spread amongst many different holders then that's the time where we would benefit most from transferring ownership of the DEX contracts to Governance + Timelock.

## What is Governance?

On-chain governance is the ability of token holders to vote on proposals set forth by those who hold a minimum amount of voting power (to prevent spam). When a proposal is made voting takes place over a predefined voting period determined by the DAO protocol. In order for holders to be able to vote they must first submit a delegate transaction before their tokens can be included in governance votes. Users may either delegate to a third party or to themselves if they would like to participate in voting directly. Optionally a proposal delay may be set in order to delay the start of the vote for a specified period allowing users time to update their vote delegation.

When the voting period ends the system checks if the number of yes votes exceed the protocol's quorum threshold. For example Compound requires 4% of total tokens to vote in support to meet quorum. If the quorum threshold has been met and the vote gains majority support, the passed proposal is then placed into a timelock queue which delays code execution. Timelock is intended as a security measure, allowing users to withdraw their funds if they think the proposal is malicious.

## Benefits of Governance DAO

The main benefit of using Governance DAO contracts is simply trust. When a protocol grows to reach the size where millions of dollars are at risk if the administrator of DEX contracts' account gets hacked or they decide to rug the holders, having smart contract functions behind a Timelock and Governor contract means that holders can vote on any changes made to the smart contracts and they will also have a set period of time to leave the protocol if they wish before the proposal is executed. With ChewySwap we've limited the damage that can be done if something were to happen to the owner wallet, our fees cannot be changed but on the MasterChef contract pools can be added or modified by the dev wallet. For now when Shibarium supports Multi-Sigs we will transfer control to a multi-sig wallet for security reasons. In the future when token distribution is proven to be decentralized enough we will move to onchain Governance DAO.

# Migrate from Marswap

How to migrate project Liquidity from Marswap to ChewySwap

On July 1st it was announced that former competitor Marswap DEX on Shibarium would be "closing its doors" and projects had 24 hours to remove their liquidity and migrate before they took down the frontend.

<figure><img src="/files/OVwsIABXC2cSLRsAOfgh" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

This was understandably met with a lot of panic by projects owners and was soon extended afterwards, but still it is a good idea to always have a plan in case the unexpected happens. Their reasoning was that volume couldn't sustain the cost of running their website.&#x20;

Lets be real for a minute here: it's not easy building on new Layer 2 blockchains as it can take time for adoption to take off and for developer services to start supporting it. Never count your eggs before they've hatched! If you expect to launch a project and for it to be instantly successful then you are setting yourself up for bitter disappointment. Everything takes time to build and expect to be in it for the long run or not at all! Always have a backup to your backup to your backup plans!&#x20;

ChewySwap has been building on Dogechain for over 2 years (starting as Dogeshrek DEX) and has been launched on Shibarium since day 1! Uptime, reliability and trust are always at the top of our priorities and in the forefront of our minds. We have backups to our backups and there will NEVER be a case where you are unable to access your tokens and liquidity. We have backups on IPFS and if that fails you can even download and host a version of our frontend yourself!

## Help is Here with ChewySwap ❤️

If you run a project and need assistance in the migration process [do not hesitate to reach out](https://t.me/m/vQs2JNEBNzkx). For those of us who are more technically inclined here are some pointers to help you if you're having trouble removing liquidity from Marswap (as you're unlikely to get any help from them).

### Try first if you have trouble Removing from Marswap:

The first step you can try if getting an error on removing liquidity is to switch to receive WBONE. On Marswap this option isn't very obvious and is easy to miss. This is done by clicking where it says "Receive WNative" as pointed out in this screenshot:

<figure><img src="/files/Xp1GDzFvmQrTDGLt1Rh0" alt="" width="357"><figcaption><p>Click Receive WNative to remove as WBONE</p></figcaption></figure>

Then you will just have to unwrap the resulting WBONE back to BONE. (The process to remove is to first click "Enable", confirm transaction and wait for confirmation. Then click "Remove" to finish process)

### If removing as WBONE doesnt work...

If your token smart contract has a tax or any limits on max wallet, max transaction etc it is recommended that you first go to your smart contract's write page and:

* [ ] Turn off SwapBack (setSwapTokensAtAmount function set to 0) - This is a function that sets how many tokens the contract needs to fill with before swapping for rewards, marketing, etc. If liquidity is removed then this function won't work so your transaction will revert. This setting must be turned all the way down to 0 or off if possible
* [ ] Set max wallet / max TX to total supply of token (don't forget to add 18 0's at the end of the number to account for decimal amount. for example for 1 token the # would be 1000000000000000000)
* [ ] Make sure wallet that is removing LP is exempt from taxes, max wallet, max tx, etc
* [ ] If none of these work contact us for more help

## Migrating Liquidity to ChewySwap / Others

[You can find our guide to adding liquidity on ChewySwap here](/products/exchange/liquidity-pools). But to ensure your project has a smooth migration and the starting price is the same as was on Marswap make sure you add the tokens in the same exact ratio of TOKEN/BONE as was originally removed. If you're adding LP to both ChewySwap and ShibaSwap still keep the same ratio to ensure the same price. It can be figured out by a simple ratio:

$$
tokenAmount/oldBONE = X/newBONE
$$

So tokenAmount/oldBONE is the amount of token and BONE you removed from Marswap. Cross multiply and divide to figure out new token amount for new bone amount and vice versa.

Q: What is the router address for ChewySwap/ShibaSwap?\

{% endtabs %}

<details>

<summary>Q: What else needs to be done after migrating our project's liquidity?</summary>

A: If your token has a tax or rewards you'll need to also update your swap router address using write contract function named "updateSwapRouter" and set your "setSwapAtAmount" function back to a manageable amount so that the smart contract continues swapping taxes for appropriate \[marketing/rewards/burn] token. If you're using an auto burn function you'll also need to update your burn router depending on which DEX has the best liquidity for the token you're burning. \
\
*Note: Functionality depends on the smart contract, not all smart contracts allow changing swap router so you'll either have to leave some LP on marswap or launch a new smart contract.*

</details>

<details>

<summary>Q: Help! Our project's liquidity is [locked/burnt] on Marswap, what do we do!?</summary>

A: You have few options for migrating liquidity if your LPhas been burnt or locked long term. Unfortunately none of these options are going to be easy depending on the number of holders.&#x20;

* You can have holders send in their tokens then swap those tokens for bone in order to get as much of the stuck liquidity out of Marswap as possible and then proceed to relaunch a new smart contract and make the starting price the same as before you started swapping out the tokens. The amount of liquidity you'll be able to extract from the liquidity pool will depend on how many people send in their tokens and you'll need to keep track of everyone's holdings that sends in tokens.
* If you have a large percentage of supply set aside for utility, staking, etc you can use that supply to swap for BONE then have holders send in their tokens for smart contract migration.
* You can automate this process to a degree using a migration smart contract but need to keep an eye out for people who try to buy after LP removal and send those tokens in. You'll need to be good at reading the blockchain to pull it off successfully and without manipulation. if your smart contract has a stop trading function or lets you set a high tax that is an option to stop people from transacting on old contract - forcing them to go through the migration process instead of possibly selling for a loss or buying a worthless token.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Q: What is the process/requirements for getting whitelisted on ChewySwap?</summary>

A: Our most basic form of listing is token logo. For tokens that don't meet our quality requirements this is the least we can do for you is make it so when users import your contract address your logo shows up.

For projects that meet certain requirements for minimum LP, LP lock and safety we ask that you contact [JiMaker ](https://t.me/m/vQs2JNEBNzkx)or join our [Telegram Community](https://t.me/ChewySwapCommunity)

# Resources for Builders

Guide for Building on ChewySwap

## Introduction

ChewySwap supports both Shibarium and Dogechain, our two favorite Doggo-Based Layer 2 EVM compatible blockchains! Even though Dogecoin and Shiba Inu are rival meme coins, we love and support each equally just as a pet owner loves each of their doggies equally. We only want the best for our pets so lets get to the nitty gritty on how to build for each of these blockchains!

{% hint style="warning" %}
This section is currently under construction! Check back soon for more detailed guides, for now you can check out our Dapp Boilerplate to get started building your own Dapps&#x20;

# Dapp Boilerplate

a handy Boilerplate for starting your first decentralized application!

## Prerequisites

This boilerplate and guide assumes some background experience in programming languages and the inner workings of the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). This is not a step by step guide for someone starting from zero experience, so in this document we won't go into the basics of "How to install VSCode" or "How to code". We live in the information age where knowledge is freely available right at your fingertips. If you have the drive and ability to search for topics on Google then you have everything you need to learn these skills. In other words, you can lead a doggo to a water bowl but you can't make them drink!&#x20;

These are prerequisite knowledge/skills needed to build your first Dapp on Dogechain or Shibarium with some recommended resources:

* **Some background in Typescript, which is strongly typed Javascript**. If you're completely new to programming languages I would start with learning Javascript and then learning the differences ad advantages of using Typescript over Javascript. There are multitudes of resources online for this such as:
  * [W3Schools Javascript](https://www.w3schools.com/js/default.asp)
  * [W3Schools Typescript](https://www.w3schools.com/typescript/index.php)

* HTML and JSX
* Knowledge of [React](https://react.dev/) / React Frameworks such as [NextJS](https://nextjs.org/)
* Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) Knowledge
  * [Mastering Ethereum ](https://github.com/ethereumbook/ethereumbook/tree/develop?tab=readme-ov-file)can be read for free in their GitHub repository
* Visual Studio Code Installed
* NodeJS Installed (Recommend using a version manager such as NVM to easily switch between versions, recommend using NodeJS 18+)
  * [Install NVM on Windows](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/dev-environment/javascript/nodejs-on-windows)
  * [NVM GitHub repository](https://github.com/nvm-sh/nvm)

## Using ChewySwap's Boilerplate

The Shib Dapp Boilerplate is meant as a starting point for developers to create their own apps on Shibarium and/or Dogechain. It includes the most up to date libraries and frameworks including NextJS 15 RC, React 19, WAGMI/Viem, Walletconnect's AppKit for wallet connection with Tailwinds for easy styling. It will be periodically updated and we'll possibly release versions for different wallet connection kits such as RainbowKit, ConnectKit, etc.

{% hint style="danger" %}
More information will be added here soon as the boilerplate is still in active development as we add more examples of how to interact with the blockchain. The GitHub repository can be found at <https://github.com/ChewySwap/shib-dapp-boilerplate>

Check the [UI Kit](https://github.com/pancakeswap/pancake-frontend/tree/master/packages/uikit) before you start doing anything. A lot of components are already created, and we don't want that you waste your time reinventing the wheel 😉
{% endhint %}

If a variant of a component needs to be created, use the corresponding component in the UI Kit as a base. For example:

```jsx
import styled from 'styled-components'
import { Button } from '@pancakeswap/uikit'
const NewButtonVariant = styled(Button)`// custom styles here`
```

### Use the tools! <a href="#use-the-tools" id="use-the-tools"></a>

Most of our repos use [Typescript](https://www.typescriptlang.org/docs), [ESLint](https://eslint.org/docs/user-guide/getting-started), and [Prettier](https://prettier.io/). Make sure you're familiar with Typescript’s best practices and enable an ESLint and Prettier plugin for your IDE.Make sure your code is formatted with Prettier and is free from any ESLint error before you submit a pull request.

#### Some good practices <a href="#some-good-practices" id="some-good-practices"></a>

* Keep components as small and ["dumb"](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pure_function) as possible.
* Use [Composition over Inheritance](https://reactjs.org/docs/composition-vs-inheritance.html).
* Keep in mind that your code will be read and maintained by several other developers. Make it as clear and easy to update as possible.**

### Creating your pull request <a href="#creating-your-pull-request" id="creating-your-pull-request"></a>

Your code is ready to be submitted for review, congratulations🥳

* All pull requests **must** have a description of what the PR is trying to accomplish.
* Keep pull requests **as small as possible**. Larger pull requests should be broken up into smaller chunks with a dedicated base branch. Please tag the PR's that are merging into your base branch with the `epic` tag.
* If possible self-review your PR and **add comments** where additional clarification is needed.

Create a [draft PR](https://github.blog/2019-02-14-introducing-draft-pull-requests/) as soon as possible so we can view your ongoing progress.

#### Pull Request Title <a href="#pull-request-title" id="pull-request-title"></a>

Our Pull Request Title follow [Conventional Commits](https://www.conventionalcommits.org/en/v1.0.0/) using [commitlint](https://commitlint.js.org/#/).‌ *More at* [*Angular's guidelines*](https://github.com/angular/angular/blob/22b96b9/CONTRIBUTING.md#type)**

# Launching on ChewySwap

<figure><img src="/files/CvZg1XGlmf4O1pl8bVNZ" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

{% hint style="warning" %}
This page will soon be deprecated as our token and NFT launchpad is currently under construction and coming soon! If you have a project you'd like to launch on ChewySwap or migrate from another DEX feel free to [reach out to us for more details](https://t.me/m/vQs2JNEBNzkx) or ask in our [Telegram Group](https://t.me/chewyswapcommunity)!
{% endhint %}

If you're looking to launch your own token project on ChewySwap there are many resources available for developers unique to our DEX! If you have any questions also feel welcome to ask in our [Official Telegram Group](https://t.me/chewyswapcommunity) and our experienced community of developers would be happy to assist you with your smart contract, Dapp, NFT and more!\
\
To make it easy for users to create their own tokens we've made a FREE no-code token deployer tool located at [Token.Chewy.Build](https://token.chewy.build). This tool will create a basic ERC-20 token contract with 0 tax, all you do is:<br>

1. Enter Token Name
2. Enter Token Symbol
3. Enter Token Decimals (or leave at 18, recommended)
4. Enter Total Supply
5. Click Submit, Confirm the Transaction in your wallet
6. Once the transaction is confirmed the token's contract address will appear underneath
7. Click the "Add Liquidity on ChewySwap" link to go to ChewySwap to pair Liquidity.
8. Enter an appropriate amount of starting BONE and the amount of tokens you want to add
9. Approve your token, then click Supply. Once the transaction is confirmed your token is n ow tradable on [ChewySwap](https://chewyswap.dog)!

To provide your own contract to compile and deploy using [Remix](https://remix.ethereum.org) check the [Smart Contracts](/developers/smart-contracts) page for our Router address (needed if your token contract has a tax or rewards).

\*\* Alternatively, you can launch your project on ChewySwap using the tools provided by our partners at [Gempad Legacy Launchpad](https://legacy.gempad.app/create-token). Check the next page for more information

# Gempad

Thanks to our partnership with [Gempad.app](https://gempad.app) Launchpad you are now able to utilize their easy to use platform to launch your project on ChewySwap either using a no-code pre-audited token deployer or by using various funding methods such as Presale, Fair Launch, Hyper Sale and Special Sale.

## Token Deployer

Instructions to use Gempad's token deployer to launch your token on ChewySwap exchange. If you have any problems contact [Morty ](https://t.me/MortyGainz)from Gempad or check [Gempad's Official Guides](https://gempad.gitbook.io/the-gempad/token-creator/how-to-and-information)

1. Go to [Gempad.app](https://gempad.app) and Connect your wallet using Shibarium Network
2. Click the Green "Create" button at the top right of the screen and select "Token" from the list
3. Select your Token Type from the following options:
   * Simple Token (No tax, no frills)
   * Standard Token (Allows setting Marketing and Liquidity Tax)
   * Reflection Token (Reflect a % in native tokens to holders, Safemoon Style)&#x20;
   * Dividend Token (Allows to reward holders in any ERC20 token)
   * Ultimate Token (Split up fees to Marketing, Treasury and Burn)
4. Enter the token's information including:
   * Name, Symbol (Short name), Total Supply, Decimals (That's it on a Simple Token)
   * Max Wallet, Max Transaction Amount (the most anyone can hold in one wallet or buy or sell at once)
   * Select "**ChewySwap**" from the Router Dropdown
   * Select BONE as Base token (will be official WBONE address: 0xC76F4c819D820369Fb2d7C1531aB3Bb18e6fE8d8)
   * Set your Marketing Wallet (wallet which will be sent marketing funds) and check off whether you want to receive your marketing fee in BONE instead of tokens (recommended)
   * Set all applicable Fee Percents on Buys and Sells
   * For Dividend Tokens:
     * Select which token you want your marketing fee in from the Dropdown: it can be the token itself, the Base token (WBONE) or the Dividend Token
     * Set Reflection Token Contract Address (must be an ERC20 token that also has liquidity on ChewySwap
     * Set Minimum token balance for dividends distribution (Holder must have at least this amount to receive rewards)
   * If you want to Implement Anti-Bot check it off ([Check Here to learn what this does and the steps](https://gempad.gitbook.io/the-gempad/token-creator/antibot-management-guide))
5. Once everything is filled out and there are no Red items, click Create Token to continue. Gempad charges a fee of 100 BONE for a pre-audited token contract
6. You will receive your token's total supply in your wallet after the transaction is confirmed. To launch your token go to the [ChewySwap Liquidity Tab](https://chewyswap.dog/#/pool)&#x20;
7. Click Add Liquidity, import your contract address in one currency box and select BONE in the other
8. Enter the amount of BONE you'd like to add to the pool and the amount of your token (Usually do max or if you want to save a distribution for marketing/team do the total supply minus the # of tokens to save
9. Approve Both Tokens, after Approve TX confirms click Confirm Supply to add Liquidity and you now have a tradable token on ChewySwap!

## Presales, Hyper Launch, Fair Launch

You can also raise funds in a presale on [Gempad ](https://gempad.app)to launch your project on [ChewySwap](https://chewyswap.dog). In a presale a % of funds raised can go to the team which can be helpful if you are planning to build a utility or heavily market post-launch. There are different price tiers when doing a presale. ChewySwap is whitelisted on Gempad and when you Finalize your presale liquidity is automatically added and locked at the conclusion of the sale. For more information [read their docs](https://gempad.gitbook.io/the-gempad/guide-for-project-owners/create-a-sale-at-gempad).

# About Dogechain ZKEVM

{% hint style="info" %}
Compiled from the [Official Docs](https://docs.dogechain.dog/docs/zkevm/overview) of Dogechain ZKEVM
{% endhint %}

* Dogechain PoS serves as a L2 solution to Dogecoin PoW and it has provided abundant usage scenarios for more than 300M DOGE and their holders. However, centralized bridges, albeit vital to bringing liquidity to the chain, have proven to be vulnerable and exert a high risk to users. Dogechain zkEVM will benefit from trustless asset bridging using rollups, from Ethereum and the numerous chains utilizing Polygon CDK. In this regard, it will remove the dependence on third-party bridges, increase security and provide higher interoperability with other blockchains.
* Dogechain zkEVM will connect to a wider Layer 2 Dapp ecosystem & liquidity with zkEVM technology while remaining to be powered by Dogecoin, where DOGE is used as gas.
* Sets a platform for a growing ecosystem for EVM-native ZK applications and enhances utility for Dogecoin by providing it with industry-leading EVM-equivalent smart contracts. As the zkEVM inevitably grows, so will the opportunities for Dogechain users of trustlessly access and utilize liquidity from these blockchains.
* Rolls up transactions on the Ethereum blockchain, enforcing immutability and benefitting from its high security and decentralization.

{% hint style="info" %}
Smart contract code is identical to their Shibarium equivalents. As of now contract verification isn't working on testnet explorer at <https://explorer.testnet-cdk.dogechain.dog/>
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="success" %}
Since Dogechain ZKEVM is a rollup L2 to ETH, it uses testnet ETH and will use dual gas with WDOGE in the future. So to transact and deploy test contracts on Dogechain ZKEVM testnet you will need Test ETH for gas!
{% endhint %}

### Getting Testnet ETH

1. Use any SepoliaETH Testnet Faucet:
   1. [Alchemy](https://www.alchemy.com/faucets/ethereum-sepolia)
   2. [Infura](https://www.infura.io/faucet/sepolia)
2. Once you have Testnet ETH on Sepolia use the [Official Testnet Bridge](https://bridge.testnet-cdk.dogechain.dog/) to bridge over to Dogechain ZKEVM

## Intro

ChewySwap logo downloads are available below, but first read these guidelines before continuing!

{% hint style="info" %}
Although ChewySwap distributes some of its tech under open-source licenses, **the ChewySwap and CHEWY brands are not distributed under the same licenses.**
{% endhint %}

The following ChewySwap "Brand Assets" are copyrighted material, and you may only use them in accordance with the policy detailed below:

* The ChewySwap and CHEWY logos, wordmark, icon
* The ChewySwap name
* Other visual assets produced by ChewySwap including but not limited to illustrations and 3d models

## What you may do

You may use ChewySwap's Brand Assets when you are:

* 👌 Referring to our products and services
* 👌 Linking to our official site or products, such as "Trade our token on ChewySwap"
* 👌 Announcing an official partnership, but only if you have **official approval** by a qualified member of the ChewySwap team

For information on other uses of our Brand Assets, please reach out at <contact@chewyswap.dog>

## What you may not do

While we strongly believe in and follow the open source ethos, **protecting the ChewySwap brand is extremely important for our users' security,** so that users know what is a genuine product/endorsement and what isn't.

Here are a few examples of forbidden uses of our Brand Assets:

* ⛔️ **Don't use our Brand Assets in your products' name, logo, NFTs, etc.**&#x20;
  * For example, making an app called "ChewySwap Engine" or "CHEWY Child" are not allowed.
  * Don't use the ChewySwap logo in whole or in part as part of your products' logos, marketing material, website, or other.
  * Logos with a strong resemblence to the ChewySwap Icon are also forbidden.

  * Merchandise ("Swag")
  * NFTs
  * Other products
* ⛔️ **Don't create derivative names that imply official endorsement**

  For example, don't make a social media group called "ChewySwap Italy" - this sounds official. "ChewySwap Fans of Italy" may be permitted.
* ⛔️ **Don't change or adapt our Brand Assets in any way**

  Use the logos and other assets exactly as provided. Do not change the colors, reassemble, abbreviate, or change these assets in any way.

Use your common sense and creativity. If you want to make something relating to the ChewySwap ecosystem, make it your own.

Have fun making a unique brand that's clearly yours -- if your product is strong, you won't need to rely on remixing ChewySwap's brand.
